Hola, I’m Lourdes. I live in Dardanelle, Arkansas. I come from a BIG family: three brothers and three sisters and I’m the youngest of the girls. I also have 18 nieces and nephews – A LOT!!! But I love each of them and enjoy spending time with them.
In 2004 I was called into the ministry. I have been ministering at Russellville Christian Center since then and I enjoy every part of it. It’s my life! Working with people and seeing lives change are the most rewarding moments in my life. One of my favorite books of the Bible is Proverbs because it has a lot of wisdom in it.
I came to “Dr. K” as a patient, and thank God, because she gave me my beautiful smile. I have worked with Dr. K since 2006. She gave me the opportunity to work with her (thank you, Dr. K), she educated and trained me. I also love the girls I work with; they have become like family to me. I really enjoy working with our patients. It is a joy to see their beautiful new smiles!
In my free time I enjoy praying, reading my Bible, ministering, volunteering, interpreting, traveling and spending time with family and friends – oh, and also shopping!

Hi, I’m Juana. I have worked as a board-certified Orthodontic Assistant since 2008. I live in Russellville, Arkansas. I am married to a wonderful man that I have been with for six years. We have a beautiful daughter named Elena. She is 4 and couldn’t be any more kind-hearted and loving. I love coming home after a long day of work just to see her smile. I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking. Just seeing my family’s faces light up when I cook something new and delicious is priceless. In my time away from work I also like to go shopping, camping, visit my friends and catch up on what’s new. My guilty pleasure would be reality TV. My favorite part about my job would have to be making my patients more confident of their smile. I have been very blessed with a wonderful life.

Hey! My Name is Linsey. I am a 2002 graduate of Dover High School. I first met Dr. K during a high school “career shadowing” program my senior year. Dr. K and I had an instant connection and I began working with her in May of 2002. Since I have begun working at the clinic, I have filled the positions of Arkansas Board Certified Orthodontic Assistant, X- Ray Technician, Lab Technician, Appointment Coordinator and my current position as Office Administrator. I absolutely love my job and all the amazing ladies I work with! Over the years, I have developed such strong bonds with some truly terrific people.
I have a daughter named Taleese, who is the love of my life. In addition to being a mother, I am also a Pomeranian breeder and perform with my Siberian Huskies in AKC-sponsored dogs shows as a hobby. My “furkids” make my life interesting and fun!

Hi, I’m Lara and I live in Atkins, Arkansas. My husband, Glen, and I welcomed the joys of our lives in May of 2003: our twin boys, Hunter and Logan. They keep us busy year-round with baseball, riding four-wheelers, fishing, and all their involvement in school activities. As a family, we do a lot of activities together; we all enjoy camping and boating. I also have two dogs, Koda and Sadie, and also two cats named Ki-Ki and Tigger. Oh! Did I mention we have a baby boy on the way? Praise God!
I am “Dr. K’s” Appointment Coordinator and have worked for her since 2002. I feel TRULY BLESSED to work with the group of ladies that I do! We all consider each other family and share a special bond that I know cannot be matched!

Hey! My name is Tamara and I am a Clinical Assistant at Dr. Knoernschild’s practice. I graduated high school from Russellville High School in 2002. I started here in 2006 sterilizing instruments in the orthodontic office at the age of 20. I love my job and enjoy the people I work with. One of the perks for working with Dr. K, is that she allows us the opportunity to have braces. I had several impacted teeth and now I have a “perfect” smile!
We are all like a big family and our boss, Dr. K, is awesome. Getting to know the patients and seeing the final results of their treatment is what I love about my job. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and the outdoors. I have a daughter named Abbe that is a softball girl and yet a girly girl – she is the joy of my life!

Hi, I’m Amy. I’ve been with Dr. K since February of 2004. I am an orthodontic assistant and the clinic manager. I love my job, and especially the great group of ladies that I work with. I enjoy going through treatment from beginning to the end with each parent. A lot of the kids grow up with our office and that is exciting to see. I love interacting with patients and their parents. I married my husband in 2003; we had our first son in 2008 and we just had our second child, a boy in August of 2011. I enjoy outdoor activities with friends and family. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful life. I too had braces with Dr. K. and I love my smile!

Hello, I’m Tanya. I first met Dr. K as a mom observing my daughter’s orthodontic treatment. Dr. K gave me an opportunity to work in her clinic, an opportunity that I have cherished since 2003. Currently, I hold the position of Treatment Coordinator but I perform other duties as well. I enjoy my work here, first of all, because of the bond with my fellow co-workers. We have a team that just cannot be beat. But, I also enjoy the relationships I have built on a day-to-day basis with the patients and their families. It is an amazing feeling to see a patient start treatment and the excitement that comes with finishing treatment.
I have been married to my husband, Jim, for over 23 years and we have two awesome children. Jennifer is a sophomore at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where she is majoring in chemistry and hopes to go to dental school to become an orthodontist. She works part-time in our office during her breaks and summer months. Bradley is 15 years old and in the 10th grade at Pottsville High School. He plays on the football team and enjoys hunting, fishing, and going to watch dirt track car racing, where he and his dad help a friend with his car. As a family, we enjoy anything outside. From camping, riding four-wheelers and hunting in the fall to fishing, traveling and going to the car races in the summer, family time is always fun and exciting!

Hola! My name is Miriam and I am the X-Ray Technician at Dr. K’s. I first met Dr. K during my senior year of high school through a job shadowing program. Dr. K loved my enthusiasm, personality and happy disposition, so in May of 2007 she hired me. I am very thankful and blessed for this opportunity that Dr. K has given me.
I am originally from Brownsville, Texas. I graduated from Dardanelle High School in 2007. I have a wonderful son named Elmer Espinoza who attends Oakland Heights Elementary. He also plays soccer and baseball. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Hello! My name is Jennifer. I am a 2009 graduate of Pottsville High School and I plan to graduate from Arkansas State University with a BA in chemistry in 2013. During middle school and high school, I was in treatment with Dr. K. She not only gave me my perfect smile that I show off every day, but also the inspiration to do for others what she has done for me by aspiring to be an orthodontist. In my time off from school, I currently enjoy being a team member at Dr. K’s clinic. I am a sterilization technician, an appointment coordinator, and a full time observer. Every day at work, I am encouraged to learn new things and work toward my future career goal.
I am in the ASU honors program and, aside from chemistry, I study biology, Spanish and business. When I have free time, I can be found cooking, watching movies, or playing with my precious rat terrier puppy, Lizzy Lou. I am also a huge fan of my ASU Red Wolves!

Hey, I’m Alex! I am currently attending Arkansas Tech University, working towards my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I plan to graduate in December of 2012. I enjoy running, cooking and being with my family. I have two sisters who are my best friends and two wonderful parents. My mom, Amy, was previously the office manager for Dr. K. This opened doors for me to have my smile beautifully transformed by Dr. K and also allowed me the pleasure of working with my mom for two years. I currently work as a front office assistant and appointment coordinator.

Hi, I am Beverly Knoernschild, and Dr. K is my daughter-in-law, married to my son, Doug. I have worked in this community for over 40 years, and my passion is in meeting people. When Dr. K and Doug asked me to work in the office, I was thrilled! I am the administrative assistant for the office. You probably see me around town in the Dr. K “straight smile bug,” getting office supplies, Walmart purchases, and running a billion other errands. I love seeing the patients the day they get their braces off, knowing that they will enjoy their straight smile all of their life. I love God and my family, and I live for my children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren! The highlight of my day is taking and picking up my granddaughter Isabella from pre-school. Dr. K is the best at what she does and we are very proud of her!
